Stuart Holroyd (born August 10, 1933) is a British writer best known for his involvement with the “Angry Young Men” British literary movement in the late 1950s. He is the author of several notable works, including “Emergence from Chaos” (1957), an analysis of six poets through the lens of spirituality and modernity, and “Flight and Pursuit” (1959), an autobiography. After a hiatus, Holroyd returned to writing with the memoir “A Personal Progression” (1975) and has since written on diverse topics such as parapsychology and extraterrestrial life.
